The Three-Day Test Plan

Over the course of three days, you’ll be asked to do several blood glucose tests and log your food and drinks, medications, and activity to give Clarity and your provider a snapshot of your diabetes and habits.

It may seem like a lot of tests and information, but don’t worry – we’re with you every step of the way, and after just three days, your personalized results will be ready for you, for better diabetes management and outcomes.

To get started, you’ll need to

Take a one-time blood glucose test between 1 AM and 4 AM on the first day of the plan.

We can’t start without this, so be sure to set an alarm so you don’t miss it!

On each of the three days, test and record your blood glucose at the following times:

  • No more than 15 minutes before each meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
  • 1–1½ hours after each meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner) If you happen to eat outside of your normal schedule, set an alarm for your post-meal test
  • At least 2 hours after starting dinner (up until 4 AM the following day)
Log your medications (whether you took or skipped them)

Be sure to complete all required blood glucose tests and log your meals, medications, and activity over the course of the three days.

Incomplete information will prevent Clarity from being able to consider your data as valid. If, for some reason, you are unable to complete all the required tests, you’ll get access to an additional day of testing and logging via the app.

Note that test plans can only start on Tuesdays.
